Just last night I spent over an hour trying to get back on a wireless connection and finally had to go to an old XP laptop to get online. I have updated all the drivers and followed the steps on a Dells customer support. I love the touch screen, the keyboard with light behind the keys.īUT, I can't live with the Wi-Fi adapter that cannot hold on to a signal and ends making the simplest of work a headache. What is odd, all of our other laptops, both new and old, never have this problem unless the power goes out after the storm.

It isn’t a fast fix either as it can take up to 20min to get the win-Fi adapter to start receiving internet signal. It does it so frequently I’m embarrassed to tell others.

But, I will have to make a correction, because the Wi-Fi Adaptor on the Dell inspiron 15z Ultrabook continuously drops off the net. No-one has frustrated me like Dell. I have the inspiron 15z Ultrabook for only 2 months now and it's drives me crazy. There are a lot of other forums out complaints out there that say the same thing I'm experiencing about the Wi-Fi adaptor of the Dell inspiron 15z Ultrabook.Within our family we have 4 laptops and sometimes when the kids are home visiting with friends there can be 6 to 8 laptops within our home online at the same time.
